About Dr. Jennings
Dr. Jennings grew up on a farm outside Argos, Indiana. He played several sports during his childhood which included many hours of basketball and soccer. When he was in junior high, he had developed knee pain know as Osgood-Slaughters disease which is an inflammation of the area just below the knee where the tendon from the kneecap attaches to the shinbone. This affected his ability to play the sports he loved which eventually led to him going to see a chiropractor. After getting his neck and spine adjusted, he started to put less stress on his body. This led to his knee pain clearing up and to never bother him again during his playing career. This was the first time in his life he could see firsthand how chiropractic care was helping him live up to his fullest potential.
A few years later his older brother, Steve Jennings, decided to become a chiropractor while he was still in high school. His brother continued to adjust him which helped him significantly throughout his high school and college basketball career. He then went on to Indiana Central (Univ. of Indianapolis) to continue playing and graduated with a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry Education. After college, he went on to teach Chemistry and Biology and helped coach basketball at Carmel High School for two years.
After a brief teaching career, he decided it was time to continue to pursue what had now become one of his passions. He moved to Davenport, Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He graduated from Palmer in 1989 as the Salutatorian of his class. Afterwards, he moved back to Indiana to work for his brother Steve in Rensselaer for almost a year. After learning from his brother and getting more experience, he decided to start his own chiropractic clinic. This is what untimely led him to move to Logansport, Indiana in the Spring of 1990 with his family.
Dr. Jennings says, “I have been blessed with the opportunity to have had my own chiropractic office in Logansport for the past three decades. This is something that wouldn’t be possible without the support from my family and that begins with my amazing wife Carol. We went on to have five children and many friends and family jokingly say went on to create our own basketball team. Outside of a few broken bones and stitches in our family, my experience in the field of chiropractic treatment required very little attention of any other doctors. We believe as a family, chiropractic care and great nutrition has been the key to staying healthy and doing what we love.”
